Go 3way or ditch my kicks and just go 2way?
OK, so here is my dilema, I recetly bought some qforms for my car (not a civic anymore, but i cant find a forum that doesnt quickly turn into an arguement about something moderatly off topic) and I put my JL audio VR 6" components in there (and man did they barely fit). While the imaging is somewhat better, the sound seems quite lacking, especially in the midbass dept. If fact, I'd say that the factory speakers have a better sound all around! Now of course I dont really want to ditch my brand new kicks, I'd at least like to get some use out of them since I spent money on them, so I was kinda thinking a 3 way set, because anything other then an entry level set 2 way set will be too deep to fit into the kick (unless there's something someone can recommend). And a 6 1/2" wont fit, my 6" are to the edges of the kick.
I'm not working with a heck of a lot of power - 75x2 @ 4ohms, but I suppose that could be doubled if the set was biampable (my amp is an xtant 603x with 'passive rear channels', but i suppose that just bridges the amp if i dont put an attenuator in or so i've been told). The 3rd channel powers 1 Alpine type-r 12 sub.
I listen to a variety of music from rock to rap, and a lot of house music (but i cant really use that as what i want to gear my system to as there is distortion ramdomly in many of the mixes i listen to).
I'm really wanting to keep it under $400, but you all know how those things go.
So really what I'm asking i guess is should I go with a 3 way set (the Focal Polyglass set seems like it may work, or the Rainbow Contour line - which i found online, but isnt in my rainbow book) or just ditch the kicks and just get a better 2 way set. I know its a long shot, but has anyone heard the rainbow IQ line installed in anything? They're supposed to be 'acousticly tuned for my car'. Unfortunatly there arent many shops around here that carry anything decent, so far all i've listened to are JL, Boston (the 3 way set they had on display sound like poo, i dont think it was set up right), and focal (but only the utopias, they had to order anything else in), so I'd probably have to travel to hear anything else, which is fine, but i dont want to travel looking for just whatever, id like some opinions to go on.
Man, this got long, oh and i dont want anything too bright, i want something pretty smooth sounding.

Reinforced? With fiberglass no, but they do have a couple layers of dynamat extreme type sound deadener. Really the sound from the speakers isnt much different from when they were in my civic, but compared to my stocks they dont really sound that great, i'd almost keep my stock system over the JLs if it weren't factory amped with the x-overs for the components built into the amp - i cant turn the volume up high enough to hear my subs when the factorys are playing, and bypassing that amp so i could would require some passive xovers. Anyway, the speakers are almost 3 years old now and i just think im ready to upgrade reqardless.
You can CDT CL 641 3 ways for right around $400 from theZeb.com
Midrange 4"
MIdbass 6.5" Crossover: "Phase Perfect" Elliptic 4th order 3-way SatNet/SubNet-642
Tweeter: 3/4" Silk or Titanium Dome
Power handling: 190 watts RMS
Frequency response: 55-20kHz
Sensitivity: 92.4 dB.
Impedance: 4 Ohm
Haven't actually heard them, but if they are anything like the CL 61s . . .

Well, one big problem with that, i only have 75 Wrms, not 190. And why does thezeb have them for almost $40 more then CDT lists on their website?
Anything else anyone can think of?
