Take my Sociology Survey!!!
Okay everyone... I need your help! I have a school project due on thursday and I need some volunteers. I know it's lame but it will only take a minute to answer the questions so please help me out 
Please list your name (can be fictious), age, and gender then give a short answer to each question. By the way a "face" is an image that you present to those around you(how you want people to see you in situtations).
Do you ever pretend to like someone that you don’t? If so, Why? (Assume this person would have little to no negative impact on your life in whole if you were honest and showed them how you really feel.)
Do you ever act in such away to make people dislike you? If so, Why?
Do you ever feel like people don’t know the real you because you present different faces for different people?
What do you do when you present a certain face and it has the opposite outcome from what you intended?
How do you deal with people who threaten your face?

Yes, because they try to be your friend, and it will not be right if you do not do the same in return.
No, If I dislike them, then I just stay away from them. Avoid contact, etc.
Yes, I act differently from strangers and people in my work. (More strict and "business like")

Yes in order to keep peace and not create a situation that doesnt need to happen, esp if they were to have little or no impact on my life
I try not to simply because I wouldnt want somebody to do the same. However, if it is prevoked, I can be the biggest @$$hole.
Yes, becuase you cant be the way that you really are all the time. Work usually causes one to act differently overall.

I wouldn't really say that i'm pretending to like them but more of just having a common courtesy. Just because you dont like them doesnt mean you cant be civil and respect them

Well even if they see just one side of me, its still the "real me". They may not know the other sides of me but its still the real me regardless.
Hmm.. it really depends on the situation. If its someone thats close to me, i'll probably try to clear things up. If its someone I can care less about, I probably wouldnt even bother clearing things up because i'll see it at THEIR fault for taking things the wrong way.

in business situations, yes. its professional to be polite regardless. personal situations, occassionally only if its someone I need to be nice to versus not giving a crap.
Not on purpose. I prefer to be kind and real to others. Not always successful.
I doubt it, I present myself 100% as the me I always am to everyone.
I'd be confused maybe. But since Im being me, ultimately their response doesnt do much.
Usually wll try to find out why they dislike me, if I cant fix it, I move on.

1) NO, typically I am very short in conversation and very sarchastic towards them.
2) YES, I am a moody person so I have consistent mood swings
3) YES, I am different in most environments I can be like a chameleon (however u spell it) I adapt to the environment I am at.
4) Depending on the situation I can become very uncomfortable and very rude or loss of words and confused I guess I can say.
5) I confront them and doesnt matter if it in front of people or to the side but along with that I also 90% of the time curse them out. I am real quick to curse someone out and try to touch on a very sensitive spot for them. I AM ALL ATTITUDE
