Whats the max boost you guys are running without using alcohol injection (or retarding the timing) without any problems. I have an external wastegate thats preset to 5 psi but at higher rpms it goes up till 6 psi. I have the Profec E01 but havent installed it yet. How much boost can I run without using alchy inj on a stock engine?

Secondly, those of you using the alchy inj, did you guys ever had any kinda problems with it? And what mixture do you guys use? 50-50? Or pure methanol. Its methanol right?

I have my alcohol set for 7psi so I say 7psi...I'm running like 90/10 alcohol but I'm going to switch to methanol soon...I have it in my garage but I'm just waiting to run out of alcohol b/c i'm too lazy to drain the alcohol

EDIT: I run 5psi low and 8psi high so at 5spi, no alcohol for me

I run 1 gallon of Xylene in my gas tank to every 10 gallons of 91 gas this makes my octane alot higher. this is for 12 to 15lbs of boost (built block)

You ran 250 whp on stock internals??? And how were you able to handle the tire spin at that much power?

I am just running 5-6 psi without alcohol right now and when I put my foot flat in the third gear I get tire spin (205/55 R15) when the turbo spools up to peak power.

Are you on the stock clutch (wheel spin in 3rd gear....), I hardly get wheel spin anywhere on 5psi with t3/t4b

17" tires and I would drop tire air to 16lbs at the track. ALso you probably need a ACT extreme clutch/pressure plate. Are you sure its tire spin and not clutch slip. Both will peg the redline.

Yes I got the ACT XTSS setup and the prolite flywheel
I need new tires though. I just bought 16" wheels and now looking around for tires. I dont have much options where I live. The best I can do is Yohohama AVS sport or Goodyear Eagle F1.

What tire size do you recommend? 205/50 or 215/45 ??? This is also my daily drive car so I am kinda leaning towards 205's. But do let me know what you think!

oh yeah, my alchy setting is like 6.5 - 7 psi.
