anyone use a xover point of less than 80 on Quarts? Mine don't seem to like to be crossed over higher than 80 at all.

darklegacy540 is on a distinguished road
I'm going to assume you're talking about subwoofers. I don't have quarts but the subs I do have, I have them in a sealed enclosure. I keep the xover point at 80hz and subsonic filter at 25hz. What type of enclosure are you using?

I dont go lower than 80 on my quarts either...they are notorious for not handling really low midbass very well....but the rest of the frequencies sound oh so beautiful

When I had quart PSDs I crossed them over at either 88 or 106hrtz. Qs can go lower though...I would cross them over at 80hrtz, or slightly lower depending on how much power you are giving them.

I think that is what really seperated the Qs from the Premiums, they can handle lower frequencies better.

It depends on what im listening to and how loud I want to go...for loud rap I keep it at 125 to save my speakers , when Im listening to anything else I go with either 80 or 100.
