Will these fit? Good Deal?

I'm tired of the bs Panasonic front speakers I have in the Civic and came across these in Crutchfield. I searched the forums but only found one post that had no more information on them. Does anyone have these, will they fit, and are they a good deal. I only have $175 or so to spend on these. Thanks guys.

The factory speakers in the 7th gen defy the term, 3-dimentional.

edit: BTW, they will be a bitch to install...do they have the 5.25" or 6.5" models?

Yeah, the vic has a true 6". Those are the Alpine X series from last year. Great speakers, but a bitch to install. The newest Alpine type S components come with a factory mounting bracket that literally drops into a 7th gen. As you can see the X-series x-overs are huge, and should not be mounted in the doors. Just my .02.
FWIW, the new type X's will be finding a home in my front doors, they sound amazing when bi-amped.

Yes, I'm using 50w RMS for each channel. I just bought some Panasonic's that came with the actual bracket for our cars and it was easy, so I'm hoping to just drop these in. They just sounded like crap though and couldn't handle the power I was giving them although they were rated high enough.
