just got 2 10's
today i just got 2 10 inch kickers with box for $100. it didnt come with an amp, i have an amp from my old sub which was one 10, can i use that old amp for my new subs? it says on the amp 150 watt rms which is pretty weak i think. but can i use this in the meantime or will i mess somethign up? im such a n00b at this. thanks for any help guys

you will want to select an amp to use based on the power requirements of the subs. 150w definitely isn't very much for 2 subs, I don't recall seeing too many subs rated for 75w apiece. Pick an amp that will at least match the subs rated RMS power. You may be able to use the amp you have, but possibly not depending on the configuration of the subs and amp. Because that amp is so small however, you may not want to use it, becuase it will be at its peak capacity while the subs are still demanding more and it will eventually start to distort and it could be bad for your subs.
Depends on a couple things. First off, it depends on what subs we're talking about. Kicker Comp C10s are rated at 125 rms I believe 75watts would DRASTICALLY underpower those. Also, is your amp rated at 150rms @ 4ohms? is it a mono amp or a 2 channel? Lets say its 150x2@4, well then you might be all set if you parellel the subs depending on their impedence. Basically we need more info.
