Best way to power fronts, rear fill and a single subwoofer

Just want the most cost-effective way of powering my front components, my rear fill and a single JL10W6 series 1. Not sure what the fronts will be yet, maybe some Kappas or some quart premiums. But the rear fill is just there for a slight fill, so I don';t mind powering them with my radio. I will also consider runnign them from an amp if thats the recomendations. So I guess I am looking at 6 channel, 5 channel, 4 channel whatever Thank you in advance.

the most cost effective, depending on how much power you need, should be getting a 4 channel amp, leaving yoru rear fill powered by you HU, then running the front speakers amplifier, and bridge the extra two speakers to power the Sub. What amp depends on what speakers and how muhc you want to spend.

yah thats the most cost effective, but u can also get a sub amp (or an extra 2 channel amp) to power ur sub and a 4channel for all ur speakers......running two amps isnt a big deal as long as u have a good thick power wire, and then get a distribution block for the power to cut it into two smaller guaged power wires.

BTW; just so u know i have a 4 channel xtant amp that is used and a 2 channel audiobahn amp that i am selling pm me if u are interested i just took them out of my car this last weekend b/c i felt it was overkill......they sound awesome though!!! EXP. the 4 channel xtant!!

Your most cost effective way is what I am doing. Take a 5 channel alpine amp that has built in cross over and a sub output channel.........Then use the four remaining channels for your front speakers and rear fill....

even cheaper is to use a 4 channel amp, run fronts only and bridge channels 3+4 for your sub

I agree with MegaHurtz and Ed. Get a 4 channel power the front off 2 channels and bridge the 3rd and 4th channel for the subs. Then run the rear fill off the HU. There is no point in amplifying rear fill speakers.

I am trying to phase out rear fill altogether in my system. My plans are to get a set of Ti Elite 6.5" components in some custom kicks and put a nice 2 chan Xenon amp on them and that should give me more than enough sound. After that phase the only purpose of the 6x9's in the rear deck will be to fill the holes, other than that they will be disconnected

Elites are nice. Your going to love them. Instead of putting the tweets up front see if you can put them in the a-pillar or up high. They work realy nice up there. You may want to lower 4K by 4db to compensate for the windshield. I have a sedan so you may want to experiment but it works well for me.

I had 6.5 elites in my rear but subsequently put the stock speakers back and just left them unwired.

I got rid of rear fill alltogether and Its much beter.
