Entertaining ride in the new Miata
Ok so im cruizing to work tonight in the Miata with the top down, around 1:00am, & this like 88-89 CRX comes up & wont leave me alone. Im just cruizing at about 70 & he keeps hanging back & then passing, braking hanging back & so on. Well after about 5 mins of this I decide what the hell, i'll have some fun. I never street race, I just like messing with people. So I wait untill he comes past again & I drop it into 3rd. I catch up & im starting to pass him slowly at about 90 when I hear this WOOOOSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH in the distance, out of freaking nowhere this GMC Typhoon FLYYYS past doing at least 120-130. I was like holy ****. Well all three of us were messing around then my exit comes up. I get next to the typhoon & throw the whats up sign, he throws it back & I exit.
Now this is a twisty exit that I know very well...& im in the Miata. Wel ive been figuring out how to throw it around some curves pretty well so I decide to take it FAST & have some fun. At this moment i think the CRX is following me, but I lose him really quick so I figured he went home. Well about 10 minutes later the same CRX comes up beside me, im like damn, this guy must be bored. Well he does the same ****, so I mess around a little, but not really because theres tons of cops around here. Well I come up to this light, about a block away from my turn(left turn), the CRX is behind me, waiting to try to pass me...light turns green, I launch it, the CRX launches it, im pulling away, get up to about 50 & heres my turn. So I flip this about 100 degree turn at like 55
...like I said, I was having fun... the tires werent even pushing, & theyre crappy tires....man I love this car 
About 5 miles later I almost hit this live armadillo...wierd...ive never seen a live one, jsut squashed ones on the road.
Note: all this was done on freeways, exits, & fwy access roads, speed limits of 45 & up, I try not to do dumb **** in urban areas...

Miatas are soo awesome to drift.. and their shifter is already short. I drove my co-workers miata(my first time) and I was doing 90 degree turns.. it was awesome... drifting that is
