Internal Wastegate Actuator
okay here goes.. i got an wastegate acutator here which says it holds 7psi but when in the car only holds 4.75psi... roughly... some people say to turn the rod tighter which makes it hold more.. but this rod is none adjustable.. so how else would u go about making it hold more psi?? dezod??.. anyone

It depends where you have the vacuum sourced off of. If you have the wastegate line directly off of the compressor housing then you will be making less boost than if it is sourced off the intake manifold, generally. If that doesn't help, you may have restrictions in either the exhaust or intake that is causing it.
First thing dont run with a cat. Second shorten your actuator rod. Take it off and go to a shop and have them cut and weld it. Dont go but a little shorter. Third go buy a fish tank metal bleeder valve w/ two valves and splice it in to the vacum line to the wastegate actuator. My wastegate is 7psi w/ shortened rod. One valve open to the air I hit 9-10 psi. Both open i hit 11-12 psi. Simple cheap setup. The valve was like $3 at a pet store.
next mod you need is a pressure sensor and a dry NOS nozzle. Put the dry nos nozzle in your charge pipe near the T/B. Run your windshield washer line to the nozzle. Run power to the pressure switch and then the switch to your windshield washer pump. That will give you methanol injection for like $50

thanks.. right now i have a straight pipe for my exhaust so u can eliminate that problem.. all intake charge pipes are 2.5in.. thanks gun.. i too was thinking about that doing that thing using the fish tank thing to blow off some air and stuff.. glad someone else did it to confirm it.. as for the source of vacuum/pressure i have it coming off of the housing.. would it be best if i tapped into the source from the IM or just the turbo housing
