Just installed one in an EP, looks great:
Just got done putting in the 7" LCD screen, Valor, into Mytran80's car. Thanks a lot Mike for being our first LCD customer! The quality is amazing using PS2 and looks unbelievable. We couldnt get sound bc Mike didnt have any Inputs in his Pioneer headunit but an FM mod will cure that very very very soon!
ALPINE eat your heart out, seriously, because the screen is the same as alpines
Price if anyone wants to know:
$425 for just the screen
$575 for screen and single din DVD Player
PICS: are crappy bc taken outside at night in a hurry. Mike come by for new pics soon or make your own and send em to me!

It may have the same resolution as the lower end Alpine models but the IVA-D900 has 1.15 million pixels, theres still nothing out there close to that. Not trying to black ball you just making a point. Good price though.
Hahahaa, im not going to argue bc you are "alpinecivic" but I know where you are coming from. The IVA screen itself is still made by sharp and altered or designed with alpine. Thats why they own rights to it. This sceen is used in the CVA models and other late models. Its price tag though reflects 2-3x less than alpine which is pretty nice. Its rare to have a nice sceen in your car for $425 bux.
Feature valor has that alpine doesnt:
Reverse camera feature like in Mercedez. Wire one of the cables from the unit to your reverse signal and one to the camera in the back. Every time you put your car in reverse and "engage the feature for auto reverse lightup", the sceen will show whats behind you. When it goes back out of reverse- your regular feature still plays.

Sorry to do this again (just making sure everything is clear), but the IVA-D900 does have a rear camera input! I also believe that the IVA-D300 does also but Im not 100% sure on that.
But again this screen is good and for everyone that does not have the $1800 to spend on an Alpine deck they should jump on this! Nice product TrueHonda!
