For Sale: custom false floor, amp racks, etc...

hey, check this out...i recently spent about a week making a new false floor for my trunk to replace that little crappy cardboard thing that was originally in there...it's custom fit from front to back, side to side, and is perfectly contoured to the shape of the trunk...it's made out of Grade A plywood so it does not bend or flex at all, and it sits on 2.5" risers made out of 2x4" blocks (i have a factory rim/tire as a spare, so the risers were needed to clear the extra height)...it is made out of 2 separate pieces that fit together seamlessly (2 pieces = don't have to unbolt sub box from rear section to access spare tire/jack, etc), and both are wrapped in high-quality black polyurethane carpeting (like thick speaker box carpet)...i also made an amp rack that is custom-fit to the area where the back seats fold down and flush-mounted a 5.6" LCD monitor in the glove compartment and a DIN-size DVD/MP3/etc player into the center console (check pics below)...while these projects aren't too difficult, they are rather time-consuming, and pretty much just a pain in the a$$ if you don't have the time, patience, tools, etc...i work at Lackland AFB, so i'm not really on a set schedule, and i spend just about all of my free time out in the garage messing around with my '03 EX sedan...anyway, the main idea of all this BS is this: i'm about to redo my system for the millionth time, so the false floor and amp rack are about to come out...i'd rather not just sell them off, but now is the perfect time to use them as a pattern for other projects...so if you are interested, i can make one for your car in your choice of material (plywood, mdf,...), finish (paint, carpet, vinyl...), etc....i also install just about anything you can possibly put in a car (head unit, speakers, amps, subs, relays, LEDs, neons, switches...), build boxes, and all that good stuff, so if you're interested in having your stuff done or just need some help (bring your car by, and i'd be more than happy to help you out if you just wanna learn...) hit me up at usafcushman@hotmail.com or PM me through the forums, and i'll get back to you ASAP...i'm not looking to make a huge profit, but i can guarantee you you'll be happy with the results and you'll save a ton compared to any of the local car stereo shops...check the attached pics, and if you have any questions or comments, just holler at me...thanks!

oh yeah...the pics are from a camera phone, and there wasn't enough light to get a shot of the false floor, but i'll try to have one up ASAP...thanks...

alright...i'm currently laid up with some strep throat, so it might be a day or two before i'm alive enough to clean the car up and take some shots with the digital camera...as you can see in the pics above, i used a 5.6" LCD monitor flush mounted in a piece of white pine...i didn't have the time or materials for 'glassin (i was on leave in FL), and the pine turned out great after a little bondo and Krylon...in the lower left corner, i flush mounted some RCA inputs that are connected to my auxiliary inputs on my head unit, so i can hook up my laptop, etc...i did a glove compartment install for a friend, and instead of a DVD player, he was running a PS2, so i mounted PS2 controller plug-ins (using the controller "extension" cords) next to the monitor instead...the one in my car was the first one i've ever done, so it's kinda like the "rough copy", but i can guarantee that you'll be happy with your results...and if not, i'll reimburse the cost of the materials (if this project costs you $30 worth of materials, and you're not happy, i'll give you $30....)...but anyway, thanks for the reply, and i'll try to get the pics up ASAP...
