cleared sedan inner taillights (pics)
Well I got around to doing the second one tonight. I think they both came out okay, but it was alot of hard work. I had some spares laying around and won't be doing this again. These are already sold to infinite012.

And an older daytime pic...

On the car...

They ARE part of the plastic. You have to take a dremel with cutting wheel and carefully break out the pink part. Then I grinded down more of the lip inside so it would be deep enough to fit a thick, clear plexiglass piece in there. I also sanded down the edges. These are by no means perfect because of what has to be done, but they're nice I think. I'm gonna test fit on the car if I have time. Oh also there is a bead of silicone around the edges to seal em up.

Thanks fuzz. Yeah those clear lens would make the reverse light really bright. I have a 2x hyper clear bulb in the pink housing and still it's not very good.

I got some plexi scraps from lowe's. It's kinda thick but works well. Most of the work is cutting the pink out and shaving down the inside to fit the plastic piece in. Then cleaning it all up with sanding and finally painting them chrome.

very nice work gearbox. looks awesome to your sedan, u should at least keep a set. well like u've said you got some laying around so its nice of you to sell some to infinite. now try to do the outer lights to complete the job.
i always have mad props for those people who word hard for their cars.
you should do the outer sides as well so it would look like mines.
