Relocating spare tire - only on the Coupes
Well guys, I had planned on relocating my spare to under my trunk, like Derek has done. But, I have a Sedan, and there simply is not enough room to do it, without cutting some of the sheet metal thats' on the bottom of the trunk. I guess there is more room under the Coupes trunk, but it is simply not easily possible with the Sedans.
I had planned on relocating it, because the empty space it would give me is where I am mounting my amps/cap. I still plan on utilizing that space, but I am going to have to rely on my roadside assistance plan, instead of having the spare there. I want the amps/cap stealth mounted, and I am having a custom sub enclosure built, that will have my subs forward firing into the cabin, and completely sealed from the airspace in the trunk. That way, no problems with a rattling trunk, and when the trunk is viewed from behind, it will look like a short trunk, not like there is a sub box sitting in it.
