I have been waiting for this day for a long time! The day De La Hoya got knocked out! Although he did fight a good match but what can I say? Hopkins is just a more powerful boxer.

Umh, sure the liver punch knocked the wind out of him, but I'm pretty sure De Le Hoya would have gotten up if Hopkins didn't hold his head with his right hand and punched him in the ear with the left right after the liver shot. (illegal) The head had no where to go, and thats probably why he couldn't get up. His equilibrium was probably all messed up. Hopkins got lucky the ref didn't see it..... But it was a good fight!!!
