RSX vs. CIVC
I was wondering does anyone know if a fixed up civic can take a rsx not type s. i have venom chip, headers, exhaust, and intake and getting pulleys do u think i can take him?
doubt it.
they have 160hp and around 130lb torque? while the best model civic (ex) has 127hp and 103lb torque? the bolts ons wont do much but little.
whose auto and whose manual btw?

pulleys will help a little ... depends what kind of wheels u have, what kind of tires u have, how good a driver u are, his setup too

Rep Power: 295 i am a pretty good driver not the best but not the worse venom yeah it does help i recommend it it helped me u can feel it kick in i have Kumho Ecsta and he just has a Rsx with exhaust stock tires and everything else is stock i have beat him before and he said he ran out of gas but i barely jumped ahead

Rep Power: 295 I am pretty dam sure he got scared of the Vic power cause who the hell sends there friends car on a supposebly slower car. he did get offended cause he was like o yeah well i bet you wont fu*k with the car behind me Nissan couldnt understand and i said whats that and he said its a turbo car with 200hp lets see tuff guy and i was just like wtf is this guy smoking i didnt even see what the other car looked like cause they turned. I think he might be scared cause my car looks very intimidating in my town everyone has fake import wannabes so mine looks very fast here i will post pics sooner or later but till now just imagine it and remember CIVIC power

Yea, i think a modded civic can take any base rsx thats auto and maybe a manual rsx if the vic driver is good. Ive beaten a RSX manual at the track twice (2 different rsx's) so i say it can be done.
Well, one of my buddies has a 01' Ex (5spd), and I have a base rsx (5spd). We went to the track over here last year (PIR) and my best time was 15.6, his was 16.4.
Another friend of ours has an EP3 and he runs almost identical times to me.

Rep Power: 0 ok there have been at least 2 threads on this topic that i can remember. i have a 2003 EX coupe auto. my friend had a 2003 RSX base auto (now he has a 2002 Type S 
). both are mostly stock. we raced many times and he took me by a car length at the most by 75. if he came off the line shitty, i took him and he would not catch up by 75. our cars are slow as **** but the base rsx is right there too.
