why not buy the strut yourself then sell it in great condition? you can probally sell it for 900ish if you get it fixed first. just an idea

I was saving that option as a last resort, I kind of needed the money sooner than later, I'm leaving for Florida on the 24th and the extra cash would be nice to have down there, and when i get back on Oct 5th my Cat goes in For Surgery

Same thing happened to my stock strut and I needed to have it cut. How come tein didn't replace it for you cuz of warranty? Why did you take them off?

I think they only come with a year warranty, (not positive on that..) besides i figured it would be hard to blame Tein for what happend. i did talk to them on the phone and they said that the winter conditions could lead to that. Also it could have been more the bolts fault, and thats a honda bolt. nevertheless I suppose next time just load the hole with grease or wd40 and that won't happen, live & learn..

I'm possibly buying a new car in October. so i wanted to return it to stock for a trade in. I'll be honest though, i miss my Tein's already they are far superior than stock. good mix of comfy & spotry stiffness.
