Well after being on unemployment for 4 months and needing a job now, I finally might have one. I had an interview today with Mercedes Benz of Sugarland and they really want my brother and I too work there. I will be working as a service greater which is moving cars and washing them, and letting customers know if there car has any problems that they might be unaware of. And the starting pay is $8.00 an hour, but I would be working around 40 hours a week. I am waiting for them to call me today so we can go take our drug tests and then speak with the district manager.

This is tight as hell because I will be going to UTI for which is a automotive school and I have the oppurtunity to advance here into the service dept. after I graduate and they will teach me what I need to know about repairing mercedes Benzes.

hey congrats...i used to work at the mercedes benz down here (so cal) for almost a year. i used to wash cars and greet people like you will be doing. it was a pretty chill job because you are driving sick *** cars around all day long. wait until you get to go gas up some of the customer cars or even the cars getting detailed there.

when i worked there two years ago i was in high school, and i had alot of friends that worked there and still do. my friend's dad is the service manager there. it gets busy sometimes but for the most part we just fvcked around all day. one of my friends started out as a porter, is currently going to UTI, and then after that Mercedes is sending him to their own school and they pay for everything...its a pretty good setup.

being unemployed sucks, so have fun there. that was the best job i had and i regret quitting but i had an *** for a shop foreman. wait until you gas up an S55 on the road and you are driving all by yourself...we used to rail those cars and powerbrake the **** out of em!!! they always came back smelling like rubber. also sometimes they have trade-ins that you might be able to gas up like M3s, Evolutions, Audis, etc..

Kewl, good luck bro. That sounds like it would be a great place to start out pursuing that career. Pay is probably better for their mechs. as well....

Well I will have to wait till next week to find out. The manager is out untill next tuesday, I guess for labor day weekend.
