Found ARP headstuds for D17's (They fitted pics inc.)
There were always there just needed to do some digging.
The Honda Factory part number for D17 lx is
HP 9005-PM3-00
The 95 civic si 1.6 vtec D16 engine uses the same Honda factory bolts.
ARP makes studs for this engine and it will fit ours.
ARP part # 2084301 Honda D-16 HSK for 1.6 SHOC vtec application. 10 studs
NOTE: ARP makes two types Z&Y (OURS is Z)
All 88 thru 95 civics and others with same engine use the same type of head bolts.
Mine are installed and work just fine.
Prices range from $125 to $150
For dose that can't wait I located two sets here in Florida.

Awesome. This is one of the things they wanted all the measurements for at ARP, was to compare and see if there was an existing head stud that would work. They have the measurements, but have not yet gotten back to me.
Try it out, and if it works for sure, I'll call my contact at ARP back and all they'll have to do is put a new line in their catalog.

Badass! No more waiting!
I called ARP to let them know, they said they'll start putting the 01+ Civic's in the catalog with this part number from now on.

I found them at Titans in O-town for $85 but they were out of stock and I realy wanted it to see them and compare just to be sure.
So I paid full retail
Any way they have two more on stock.

def. gonna get theese head bolts before I install my boost. It might push back my install date a little but i'de rather get theese and the nippon leakless head gasket,so i can run 10 psi a little safer. It's gonna take alot to keep up with spdrcrchk.
supermex is that that part number for the ex?

I also got a shop doing thermal cycling to all the non titanum parts before installing.
My car was running just fine but is on the shop now getting a custom turbo set up.
So we removed the head once again out, just to change the bolts to ARP studs so that this wouldn't be a concern down the road.
And the part number holds true for EX and LX.

I wish I can help you, but my service book is at the shop Dynamic Speedlab and I don't remember it at the top of my hand.
Someone here surely has the book handy.
Make sure you also follow the sequence of the bolt tighting.
Nice going Gotti
Can you help Robo with the torque specs?

awesome, thanks man, i was totally in the dark about the sequence and the tourque. btw, when i talked to the guy at summit, he said the D17z's were not HEADBOLTS, but HEADSTUDS. i did order the right thing, correct? im pretty sure that the studs are stronger then bolts, so i guess it makes sense. can anyone clear this up?
