It wouldnt give you any performance, unless he was turboed or something, but still there is no need for a dual exhaust.

Only way would be to get custom piping and have it split near the rear, but it is going to look stupid IMO.

i doubt it would increase performance over your single canister exhaust. it would add weight though. not sure if it would be louder, but may i ask why?

search up "dual exhaust" ... i remember posting a list of negatives of a dual exhaust on a 7thgen civic

I agree with streetglower. I will also add something. Why? Why? Why? There is no need with dual exhuast on a 1.7 liter 4 cylinder. Even with turbo there is no need. Hint 4 cylinders are inline meening it only needs one exhuast. Also if youi don't take anyones advice then have fun melting your fuel line and going caboooooooooom!!!!!!!!!

lol. some ladies were commenting on my car last night and they told me i should put duals i jus shook my head a laughed. don't do it. creates to much back pressure and to much of that makes you loose horse power. no need in making a slow car even slower

If you want it, then go get it. Maybe it's just for show and doesn't mine being slow. Meineke had a special on dual exhaust this last week. I don't know if they still have it though. Its you car.

Is anyone else driving your car or giving you money to keep it the way it is.

if your going to get dual exhaust, stay the *** away from having meineke do it. That is the worst place to go to get exhaust work done. Stick with the reputable shops please. I have seen the work that meineke has done and it is very shitty.

this was disccused a while back on the forum. dual exhaust on a civic will create too much back pressure and you will lose horse power you can even go to any tuner shop and they'll tell you the same. civic + duals = less horsepower

you really should go back and re-read those posts about the duals, because it doesn't gain back pressure what so ever. Come on it can be explained as simple as it was with the straws.

it will reduce back pressure, but also it will redude the scavenging capability of the exhaust and that will reduce HP, not to mention the extra weight added
