i sent him some pm's, but he said he would be away for the next 2 weeks. i also tried sending emails, but when i click on "Send email", it says that he requests not to have emails sent to him and that i need to ask the administrator or something

Your post isnt shady, but what are are saying doesnt make since. Ok how long ago did you pay him?

your saying you dont want to give him a bad name, but it seems that you paid for something awhile ago, and now he wont respond. And he said he will be away for 2 weeks. So freakin what, he should have sent the product before he decided to go on vacation or something.
Also you dont want people not trusting him no more, but when you make a thread like this, when people read it, they will be weary before they buy from them.

Also like V8eater said, it seems so shady. Now also how did you pay?

i paid about a week and a half ago, by money order (registered). they told me it would get there in 4-6 days.

Well, since you paid by money order, if he runs with it, you are pretty much screwed. What I would do is see if you still have your money order reciept and go check and see if it has been cashed yet, and if it hasnt, I would cancel it and get your money back.

But I would say give more time because of how long it takes to get to canada, since that is where he is from, but since he doesnt respond, seems like he is just waiting for the money order, and then will run.

alot of people have problems with them, but a majority dont. I never have. just make sure that if someone ever sends you money, make sure they are verified before you send the item. Or you will be screwed.

Mine is in customs I think. Its being processed or something. It should be here by the end of this week, maybe early next week I'm figuring. So yeah, they were shipped and I got responses from transformspoilers but it took a lil bit for them to get back to me. No big deal, seems like they were probably just busy trying to get our stuff done. No worries the stuffs coming man. Wooohoo!

btw, my friend told me that one time he sold something on ebay (i think the item was about 70 dollars)...he told me that after the buyer received the item, he sent my friend an email saying how good the product was, etc. Then my friend said something about the buyer making a report to paypal about getting his money back (or something), the buyer said he never received the product. so in the end, the buyer got his 70 dollars back and the item.

is that a problem with using paypal?

Paypal won't do diddly if someone tries to screw u either. I reported a seller to paypal that never sent me the item. "We have determined that the seller, ______, was at fault, unfortunately due to our policy we cannot persue any action" yatta yatta. Paypal is much more convenient for shipping and turnaround time though, so that's why I use it. Anything that safe is too much trouble.
