1/4 mile times on sf
not sure if this is a repeat, anyone got sf kitted EX with 1/4 mile times? Wouldn't mind seeing some other kits times too. but yea. lets see em
actually he just got married saturday so thats been a big part of it. I wouldnt say the SF kit sucks. They put enough power to destroy his tranny in 1 launch lol it would run 12's IMO.
I dont post much here anymore either so I didnt know he wasnt posting.

catalyst and sf have gone down the drain on this, and many other forums. they stole the money of paying customers. then, after a barrage of phone calls, and maybe a year later, they send half-assed kits to the customers.
when they were a GOOD company, they made some excellent kits and catalyst was the fastest (because he had a farkin prototype kit...)

Although I love my kit (now that it's finally working properly) I agree with civic01vtec. They sent me the wrong turbo as well along with a bunch of missing parts I had to buy on my own. Kit is good, product support very very very poor.

Yeah I had a kit from last october. My kit work great, and they replaced my turbo and recalibrated my fuel system for me.
But yeah the other member was right. 14.5 @7.5psi with a 2.260 ft time.
I also have an 8lb flywheel which sucks for drag racing... low 14s with an alignment, and heavier flywheel is very possible. My front tires toe in at the moment.

somewhat lighter flywheel can work, like i have an 11.5lb one... not bad, just a little shaved, i dont lose anything as far as revs... and i still own some of the best times here... but an 8lb one would SUCK.....

that is wrong bro....turbo cars dont get as much correction as n/a.... at that elevation for turbo is probably like .1 to .2 correction at the most.
when we had the cars at both tracks thats what we saw. tha n/a celicas were closer to .7 - .8 slower.
that track is windy, hot and dusty. STI's are lucky to hit 13.9's there. most are in the low 14's
gotta remember many things affect runs. not just elevation.

i agree whole-heartedly....but as far as elevation effecting times w/ a turbo car...its just not even that much to take into consideration...the actual characteristics of the weather and track conditions will play a far bigger role than elevation with a turbo car
