NeuspeedRacing Springs
To anyone out there who has knowledge about neuspeed Racing springs. They say 2.25-front 2.0 rear. On our civics, VISUALLY have u seen the front drop to be a tire tuck, or more like a 2 finger gap.
Problem is I expected more close to a tire tuck and i have a 2 finger gap in front. Any
apprieated/

apprieated/ how long ago did u get them? i heard that it takes tiem for them to get worked in and as soon as u install them it ususally comes to about a 1.5 inch drop but it works its way down to the full 2" after a lil while.

I dont think you can have them upside down without experiencing any problems. The top of the front springs is flatter then the bottom and the bottom is more angled then the top. You can really only have these installed one way.

What tire size are you running? Sounds like your running something small like 204-40-17s. In this case than yes its normal. My friend is running some small tires too, something like 205-45-16s and he has about a 2-3 finger gap. When I had the race I had almost none but my tires were pretty big, 215-40-18. But yeah people often look at the gap but they dont take into account tire size makes a HUGE difference.
If you just installed them. wait a couple days and it should drop down a little bit more(especially the rear).

yeah i have race springs to and when i droped my car like 1 year and a half ago it slamed my car to the ground. After i lowered it i couldn't even get the jack out of underneath my car. I think they vary on everyones car but i had almost no gap on stock tires and steelies. After a while they settled in. Then i got 17s and it got 1 finger gap inbetween ties all the way around.

I was just expecting the front to ATLEAST be lower than the rear, taking into consideration RACE springs are 2.25-front and 2.0-rear
dammit well i guess this jus basically suxs. thxs for the reality check so far guys

I've got the race springs with tokico's and no tucking in the front. I'm running a 215/40/17 and have about a 1 finger gap in the front and just barely tucking the tire in the back.

Its possible, but you'd really have to be an idiot to miss how they get installed correctly. The spring(doesnt matter what brand) is more angled on one end which will only seat properly on the lower perch. If it was unside down it would cause alot of problems and crazy noises.

Static X, don't follow the printings on the springs. I read some post by Vnilman and it seems that Neuspeed has corrected the printings from a certain batch onwards. Just follow this rule of thumb: Install the front with the flat side of the springs on the top and for the rears, install the closer packed coils of the spring on the bottom. The fronts have the closer packed coils on the top though. Hope this helps.
