see an amp isn't an engine. it doesn't need air to operate. i always thought that thing looked bad, but thats my opinion and you can feel differently.

Here is mine... i got the 8000T and the 6004T i love it. gets kinda hot though but thats cuz i blast the hell out of them.. pushin 2 kicker L5 10s... i'm in socal too so if u want a close up look or to hear it just lettme know

yea i love the way it looks.

but i think with the scoop...the fan is able to suck air in to cool the internal amp....so thats pretty good in term in of keeping it cool so it can operate better.

I have the same 2 amps that vietfob714 has. The 8000T makes my Polk Momo 12s slam, and the 6004T makes my Polk db components up front and my Polk db series 2 ways in the rear really sing. I'm almost finished installing this system, and will post pics when it's finished. Sounds VERY clean so far...
