Building a box for 2 10"s and a 12"...
I currently have a 12" RF HX2 sub and, after recently purchasing a 2004 Honda Civic Ex (blue,2dr), I would like to add some bass to my soundsystem. I know how to hook up the wires and the amp and that stuff, but I am looking for some ideas to build a box for some subs that I plan to purchase soon. I want to buy 2 kicker L5 10"s subs (squares) and add them to the twelve in the back of my trunk. Currently, all I can come up with is to build a rectangular box and put the 12" in the middle and the two 10"s on the side. Can anyone give me some advice as how to make a creative, yet spacesaving design that will look cool? I have even though about sealing the 10"s in a bandpass box and adding the 12", but I'm not sure how I could do that. Any suggestions, about the subs or the box, would be appreciated.
And anyone who currently owns some 10" L5's, tell me how they sound. I like tight hitting bass, which is why I opted to get the tens instead of the twelves.

I found this box design, you have to pay for the plans but gives you an Idea.

Most people say mixing subs is a bad idea .... unless you have a separate crossover that splits what subs play what bass frequencies. You might want to research this more before you get going too far.
