help deciding with new amp =)

i Guys!

can you recommend me a good amp for my newly bought 2 subs?

they're Kicker compVR 12", DVC sub, gonna be 2 ohm parallel wired...
so, 2 subs at 2 ohm each...

800watt max....400RMS, according to the website....

so, im hoping to get, a stereo amp..

which minimally...

>= 400 watt RMS x 2 CH @ 2 ohm...

right now i got Solid Audio F-29....1200watt max...(shaddy name)

which has a possible setup of..

600RMS x 2 CH @ 2 ohm....

whaddya think?? =)

yep, that's correct...

so i got this following setup..

let'see that budget should follow the "class" of the sub.....
if you guys wanna suggest a really good one (expensive), that's not a problem, i'll greatly appreciate that =)

F-29
1200WATT MAX OUTPUT

Output Powers
• 300W (RMS) x 2CH (2 Ohm)
• 200W (RMS) x 2CH (4 Ohm)
• 500W (RMS) x 1CH (4 Ohm)
600W (RMS) x 2CH (2 Ohm) <-- gonna use this setup..

i'll probably gonna stay with this amp if it sounds real good....however, suggestion about a better amp is greatly appreciated! thanx!

jeez..

no subs are "cheap" enough to power:

>=400 watt RMS x 2CH @ 2ohm...

hm...lemme see a different style of wiring for my two subs...

maybe i should bridged it to one ch....so it won't cost me a fortune..

BUT...

2 ohm stable @ 400 RMS watt X 2 CH (each sub)....that'll be nice!

oh man...............

wait a minute....

ONE dvc sub...............two coils..........what's the amp of each coil? is it 2 ohm or 4 ohm??

paraller in one sub, that's gonna be 1 ohm, that's crazy...

i can't use the setup of 2CH then! oh man...

i can bridge it and it becomes 1 ohm 1 ch.........................and it's not supported on the amp..

oh this is crap...

if i series the sub, 2+2 = 4 ohm..... 4 ohm x 2 CH.....that's only 200 watt RMS supported by the amp! while the sub is 400 RMS EACH.....oh man...this sucks..

what's the resistance (ohm) of each coil of kicker compVR 12"??

Whoa calm down killer.
Its not that hard
Run two subs of a two or one channel no big deal.
And yeah my bad an 1100 rms would be way too much i misread...id say grab something around 1000 max and let er slam

hmmm...

run two subs of a two...or one channel...

one channel doesn't sound like a good setup...

rub two subs of a two.....now, what's the best setup..

dvc sub....it says, 2 ohm DVC OR 4 ohm DVC...

if each coil inside the sub is 2 ohm, then the possibilities are, 4 in series, or 1 in paralel....

and my amp only has the best setup for 2 CH with 2 ohm each...how to do this, hm...

if you run them right it wont make a difference do your subs have one neg/pos terminal or two sets...if one then disregard anything i say but if you have two then run your positive speaker wire to one pos. input and the negative to the neg. input on the other set of connections and then throw a bridge from the open neg/pos
