Water Temp install

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone can help me out with installing a water temp gauge. I tried searching for it but i couldnt find anything on it, there were some for a/f and volt gauges but none for the water temp. Also where would the temperature sending unit be in our cars? any info would be great

jahernandez is an unknown quantity at this point
Don't take my word for this, but I believe the stock temp gauge on the civic dash measures the water temperature. For everyday driving, this is normally what is measured because other temperatures will be similar...ie: oil, atf, etc... When you get into things like towing and racing, you install other gauges to constantly assess the performance of each system. Hope this helped you out.

its on here somewhere, I've done it twice now.
You need to cut the upper radiator hose in half then put a new sensor housing in. Oh... and the stock thing in the dash is bullshit... it'll read the same thing for temps anywhere between 120ish and 210.
PM me... I've got some extra aluminum and some time later this week... I can probably crank out a sensor housing if you need one for less than you can buy one for.
