God..I lost my PS once for a day and it was murder.
Remember....There IS a difference between a car that was designed without PS and a car that WAS designed with PS.

Did i just lose some compression or something in my PS? if so how do i fix it in the end??? can it be fixed? and if i loosen the nut again and the one on the bottom to slide my DP in will i be able to get my PS working properly again? and i hope that wasnt' the A/C i just fu.cked up.... please HELP!!!!!

since our cars use a different type of suspension, the muscles it takes to turn our steering wheel is MUCH greater than that of the previous gen integras and civics. I currently don't have ps.
You just killed the ozone layer, call the eco geeks,,,,,,,,,,,,, NAW but your lucky you didn't get burnt by the freon, errr R 134-a, that shi* is cold. You need to get it recharged most likely, I believe a vaccuum is drawn on the system.

You're seriously going to hurt yourself if you don't know what you're doing with the a/c system. If you accidentally open up the high side, you're going to be in for a surprise. It's under extremely high pressure. No you can't just open up the a/c system without discharging the system. You're probably going to end up hurting yourself or at the very least damaging something if it blows apart as you unscrew it. When you open up the a/c system you introduce moisture into the system. That kills your filter/drier assembly. That will have to be replaced after you open up any a/c lines if you want your system work properly.

I know losing PS makes some kind of hardship at low-speed turns
But I also noticed a ~15HP restoration from losing that PS, actually from my dyno run, without fuel tuning....

Always not recommend holding the phone while driving manual, with or without PS....use hands free kit....
I talked with my friend working on a performance shop, and he said that it's better not to have PS especially when driving at high speed....The steering wheel is too loose that it will move even with a tiny vibration...

^^^^ Yes i was also thinkin bout that too.... but how much of a bitch is it at low speeds??? also How much work is included in taking the PS out, and putting it back in when needed??? thanks
i cant stress this enough.. do not fvck with your ac system. you could get seriously injured. if the pressurized gas doesnt **** up your hands or other body parts, whatever it hits, it might possibly be fatal or harmful.. i forget whether or not it is... take it to a shop if you want the system evacuated. and removing your power steering would be beyond stupid.. unless the vehicle is only going to be used at the strip.. i wouldnt even consider it. .. youd probably be kicking yourself within a week after seeing the difference in performance vs pain in the *** factor
yea dude my friends ps went on him and he had to drive for like a week without it fixed and he said it wa s a bitch.. unless its gunna be a drag car i suggest u dont get rid of it.. ull be haing it after a week and ur arms will be killing and u.. you just wont have fun driving..
