help out a DX civic owner

I don't have a tach in my car, and I was wondering what MPH redline occurs in 1st. I'm used to pushrod motors, so I always think that I am destroying my engine when I have to rev it and I hear it whining (only hit the fuel cut once though). Thanks

I have a lx cluster in my dx and i have redlined it to the same markings as a lx. I believe its 6800 but Ill have to double check on this.
