Alright - I've been posting like crazy for some help with amps and I want to thank everyone for the help. Anyway - the last thing I need help with is this.

I'm going with Phoneix Gold Xenon Series amps:

I'm getting a PG 100.2 for my components

For my sub (12" Shiva) - it's down to the PG 400.1 or 600.1

I can't decide which one to get. The only difference is the power. the 400.1 obviously 400W RMS and the 600.1 rated at 600W RMS. The Shiva with dual 8ohm coils will be wired down to 4ohms. Anyway - I can't decide if the 400.1 will be enough since the Shiva is rated at 600W RMS. I'm aware that the rating is strictly thermal and such but I just want the sub to shine. Will it be any better with the 600.1 than the 400.1? The prices diff is around $200 so if the 400.1 is enough then I'll save myself the money. If you guys think otherwise then I'll spend the extra $$$ to get the 600.1 to meet the Shiva's power rating.

i say 400.1. you won't give it 400W rms anyways. sooo not worth the 200 bux

youll blow it with a 600.1, id actually reccomend the 600.1 for 2 of them
