Know of a good shop to buy and install hayames?

I could use Modacar but they seem a little bit shady to me. So does anyone know of a trust worthy shop that doesn't F things up?

Preferibly a shop i can order through as well as install.

Thanks

If you order through a shop, expect to pay the retail price of $1,100 for it. The $650/free shipping deal is offered through selected vendors.

I guess Motorsport Techniques in Hayward is the best I can navigate you for an install. If you happen to want to order Teins, you can go there as well.

Otherwise, I highly recommend doing it yourself or getting someone experienced to help you with it.

prepare a 3/4" drill if you are planning to install it yourself

Actually, we don't want to drill it. First of all, the hole is tapered on the bottom side (normally it's on top). Second of all, all you have to do it turn the tie rod upside down so it goes UNDER instead of on top of the tie rod arm.

Drilling was the biggest mistake because it's the very reason why I can't drive my car. Oh well, it was a learning experience.

Does the drilling thing apply to the old version or the new version.

I've had both on my car. It applied to the new ones but you are NOT supposed to drill the hole, or else it will not work. Just turn the tie rod upside down. You cannot possible drill a tapered hole. If you do, you'll be calling SPW for new tie rod collars and since the part comes from overseas, you'll be waiting almost a month to receive it.
