This is not the pocket-rocket that sells for $250. You can never find an X1 this big for this price. The $250 pocket-rocket doesnt even have a fully functional headlight, horn, signal light, brake light, non-full fairing etc. The $250 is the one that makes you look funny when you ride them.
eBay has the X1 listed for $400 plus shipping of $100.
If you ran into problem with this X1, I'll give the number of who I bought this from. He is the distributor for the X1 and has a weekly meet in OC with other pocket-bike riders.
The warranty from the distributor is only 30days anyway.

I am selling this because its only collecting dust in my garage. I thought I wasnt going to school this summer but I am.

Honestly, I didnt even take it to more than 25mph because its still on the brake-in period.
Some salesperson advertises this bike to go 45mph to attract customers. This is simply not true. A stock 49cc cannot go over 30mph unless otherwise the carb, timing, intake, and muffler is modified.
This bike has modifications available. A number of seller has STAGE 1, 2, and 3 Performance Kits.
But trust me, 25mph feels 50mph on a small bike like this.
About the legality, the law is still vague. I have never get hassled for driving this on the street even when the cops saw me. I drove two miles to the liquor store from time to time.
The smaller version of this however, you tend to get hassled becasue the handlebar is below your knee and its too small. The X1 bike looks like a small scooter and maybe the working headlights ward off the cops from pulling you over. Those bikes are slower than the 47cc versions but they cost more to buy as well. The lights, full-fairing and all that other stuff adds to the price of those pocket bikes. The 49cc is more comfortable to ride though, since it's a little bit bigger.

I saw a guy driving one of these on the streets of glendale and stopped by a police, handcuffed with helmet. Dunno the reason but I heard that this bikes needs a license and registration. Just heard it but I'm not sure....

Yeah, I was just at my cousin's house and it was my first time riding it. You can get hurt pretty bad on these little things! Anyyway he's got exhaust on his and is the smaller version, I think it should go up to 40-45mph. Apparently they're illegal on the streets unless you register it. If you register it you'll have to pay for insurance, so its not worth it. However, you are allowed to ride on private property, but not public areas.
