Jhonda has a little shameless behaviour in the past

SVT Focus vs S2000

So the other night I got in a race with a stock s2000 from a roll. He was minding his on bussiness till I stayed beside him for a bit. Then he just smiled so. we take off and im in 2ed at about 50mph and I went to about 110 (note this is about 1:30am no traffic at all Except for one) I put about 2-3 cars on him and give the thumbs up. Then the other car that was behind us lined up with me I think a 99si with a turbo....so I am feeling kinda cocky (this is before I heard the blow off valve

as he quickly put about 2 car lengths on me by the time I went from about 65to 75mph....

But I got back up next to him and he gave me the thumbs up.

Its nice to be finally boosted. JRSC doing some good

Well think of it this way a 240hp (I think)s2000 vs a 208whp focus should be pretty close

2004 s2000 are 240 (2.2L) old ones were 220 (2.0L)

weight difference, gearing, RWD vs. FWD, it's beievable that you beat him from a roll, more than from a stop for sure. driver is important also

^^ they are both 240hp.. the 04' just has more torque and lower rev limiter

Actually i saw a dyno not too long ago of a stock S2000

It dyno'd at 202.5 rwhp

ya i want to supercharge my s2000 but it cost too much. i'm always scared of getting wooped by a rsx, focus, or anyother fourbanger with turbo/sc. it kinda hurts the ego!

stock the svt focus is dissapointing IMO. i think its gearing sucks, and it's times dissapoint as a straight racing car. $ for $, and as an all around handling car, it isn't too bad though.
