The yellow. But if you don't race your car tokico is good enough for street plus you don't need to cut your stock struts to install the koni insert.

If you dont feel like cutting up your old oem shocks, go with the tokicos.

Ok I have the same question, Im debating on getting either the koni's or the Tokicos so far from what Ive heard....

Konis Pros-rides much better Koni's Cons-cost alot
- adjustable damper - have to cut front strut to install

Tokico Pros-cheaper Tokico's Cons-not adjustable
- easy install - rides not as good

Am I right in that stuff? Anyone who has used both, let me know what you suggest, I dont plan on autocrossing just some spirited daily driving. 02 lx coupe

my friend is a mechanic at this honda/acura shop...he installs tokicos all the time and doesnt recommend it cuz they tend to blow a lot quicker than other brands. as far as the install for koni goes, yeah you do have to cut the front struts but its not that bad...just time consuming...when its all said and done though you'll love it

i head Tokicos are pretty good for just daily driving but I dont' know how they will ride on 2" drop. They are pretty cheap too less than $400

my konis have a lifetime warranty so that has nothing to do with anything. I have tried them both and ended up sticking with the Koni's the overrall ride is much better and the weight transfer (bodyroll) is much less when adjusted onto a tighter setting. The only con is the fast that you have to make your own housing from your stock but if you ave a day to waste thats no big deal. By the way just for reference i ran them both with stock springs. The Koni's perform so well the only reason i would need to change my springs would be to change ride height. They are stiff enough as it is. Oh and by the way I got my Koni's before they made the Tokico's so i ended up paying much much more than they are now. Try 1000 for the set.

Koni Yellows are a better performing shock then either Tokico Blue or Illuminas... (Very few companys have put as much time and effort in race development then koni) If you want to buy a better stand allone shock then Knois, Try Moton. BUt a set of Triple Adjustible Motons will run you about $5,895
