Got bored and remembered when I was stuck at work years ago trying to find out who was winning the Elections since I had no TV or radio in the gas station...
This thread will show you who is running and how the election is proceeding. I'll update it as much as I can until the final count.
Here are the parties involved.

Conservative Party of Canada (Stephen Harper)

BLOC Quebecois (Gilles Duceppe)

Canadian Action Party (Connie Fogal)

Christian Heritage Party (Ronald O. Gray)

Communist Party of Canada (Miguel Figueroa )

Green Party (Jim Harris)

Libertarian Party of Canada (Jean-Serge Brisson)

Marijuana Party of Canada (Marc-Boris St-Maurice) <--- Not a joke..this is for real!

The Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada (Sandra Smith)

This is mostly Atlantic Canada.
No offense to those living there but I think they're afraid of the Conservative's Work for Welfare initiative...

Nobody votes NDP and it was expected that the Bloc would come out ahead of them.
If Quebec honestly thinks it can survive on it's own then more power to them....see ya! I just wanna make sure that all my friends in Montreal and Gatineau get out before it all falls apart.
You're not even FRENCH.....French Canadian is only unique because it's WRONG. First, get rid of the French only stop signs....christ, even in France they say STOP...quit trying to be special. In Montreal you can still find english only stop signs...ever been to the West Island?
cool get rid of your english friends before separation...nice houses at discount price...cool really good idea...never think about it...thank's...take their jobs too...

Ok but can we kick out the thousands that have the nice high paying jobs in the federal government here in Ontario that live in Quebec? I know a lot of people LIVING IN ONTARIO that would like those jobs.

And by the way...housing is getting a lot more expensive in Que thanks to ever increasing property taxes. Expect worse when your Province....errr..country has to fend for itself financially.
I'v never talked about kicking out anybody...it's you with your idea to save your friends...if they want to leave it's their choice...if they want to stay they're welcome...anyway i've traveled alot in Canada and i can tell you that Anglos are better treated in Québec than Frenchies in the rest of Canada...i dont think that i can be serve in french in Saskattoon or Calgary...i love my fellow anglos in Québec(i'm leaving in the eastern township) because they're open minded...and when i pull of a person from Toronto for a speed violation(yes i'm a cop and french...ouch..two bad things...) i always speek to them in english because i'm showing some respect(not 100% good english but i'm tryin) and proud to have them in LA BELLE PROVINCE....but we need guys like you to keep the separation desire alive...with your comments and your close mind...

Closed mind my ***...I lived there for 12 years and have seen first hand how it really is...
I went to a high school that was seperated by a cat-walk so that the French and English student's couldn't associate with each other. We started before them and finished after them....that way we wouldn't see each other in the school yard. If I stepped foot on their side of the school I was suspended, three times and I was expelled. My french teacher kept me after class if I spoke a single word of english in his class...my friends went to school with a FU(KING BRICK WALL between the english and french in the school yard.
I remember Bill 101 and all the rage it caused for no reason other than some dumb *** politicians wanted French only advertising. You think it was a coincidence that all this happened when it did? It was a brainwashing technique used to gather young voters who would be of age to vote during the referendum but it backfired because the West Island was too strongly opposed.
I was a 13 year old in the air cadet system and I went to CFB Baggottville every summer for my air studies courses. The camp was run by a Major Jean Paquette. A man who instructed his flight leaders to speak French only to all cadets, including the half that came from the West Island and parts of Ontario. I went through hell for 5 weeks over those first 2 summers. Practicing for final Parade in a field on a hot August day watching Frech cadets wearing PT gear (shorts, t-shirt, running shoes and ball cap) get water passed around while the English flights in FULL FU(KING dress (full uniform with wool socks and boots) pass out from the heat and be offered NO water at all. HAHA....Guess what....I wrote a letter, got a few high ranking people to sign it and got that guy dishonorably discharged!
Do not ever call me closed minded to this ever again.
