i know this might be a nub question or what not, but i havent put much time to research about this question, and no one has giving a real answer.
on our civic's, well mine, my speed governor goes on at 111mph.
now if i wanted to get rid of that, how or what do i buy?
details please, company info, location(website) link, name of product, price, and or DIY.

Ok, this is real bullshit, no one really seems to give a straight answer regarding the governor. I've done all type of searches and read all the posts on the tech sections. NO ONE seems to really know what's going on, everyone has a diferent perspective about this, so please don't post that this question has been answered before. IF YOU HAVE THE SOLUTION TO THE GOVERNOR, PLEASE POST IT.

here is what was typed:
While installing the Cruise I had to tap into the VSS (speed sensor) wire at the ECU (engine computer). So I decided to build a little circuit that would disable the speed governor. It uses a digital counter to divide the input pulse from the VSS in half and pass the new signal on to the ECU. Essentially it tricks the ECU into believing that the car is going half the speed it actually is. Works pretty well, The top speed used to be 113, but I have been able to go faster since installing this mod.
I'll post more if I find anything.

1st no! there is no company that makes anything for us to get rid of our governer both rpm and mph.
2nd. the only company anywere to close to geting rid of it will be AEM, when they realse the EMS system for our car. sometime at the end of the year. the unit cost's about 1500 and onther 1500 to tune. and is only ment for cars that are fully built.
3rd. there is no reason for you to go over 111mph.
