Updated pics of my DIY fiberglass box.

Today I fibergalssed a mold for my new sub box. this was a big bit(h and I dont plan on doing it again anytime soon. I also painted a peice of my girlfriends dash. I must say it turned out quite nice.



also....... Are there any members on here that are not vic drivers because her website she goes one blows and everyone is real unhelpful. so i told her she should join here. is the anyone else not driving a vic?

by the way the shriviling in the middle of the painted dash peice is masking tape so dont think nothing bad.

wow, that actually looks half way decent.. not knocking your ability.. just looks like if you carpet it and have a nice speaker in there, it would look damn good.

Is fiberglass hard to work with and hard to mold and stuff?

well as much as i hate to admit it my fiberlgass box sounds like poop. I just got done mounting the sub and even though it looks good and fits good, that dont change the way it sounds.

Try using some poly-fil. You can get it at most fabric stores & wal-mart, its the same stuff they fill quilts & pillows with.

nice work...

i got a homie who does custom enclosures and custom boxes for subs...not to mention he also sells subs and stero equipment from tv screens to dvd screen to subs and even custom tinting...he does it for pretty cheap too...double limo w/ reflective on all windows except front windshield for 350 with free installation
