I just dont like the clear dot. I... ...tried some reflector circles and it looked a little strange, but the color match looked good. I dont want to buy new tails.

The reflectors fit perfect over the reverse part, but its raised about 1/16th of an inch. It just seems like too much contrast on a black or red car. If I tint them they will still be lighter than the rest.

I've had an idea up my sleeve a while. I'm about halfway through the project but hit a snag because a: I don't have the proper equipment. b: other things to do first

I still need a new Dremel because cutting into the oem taillight's the only way to get that red lens out. The taillights don't use 'meltable' glue/adhesive like the headlights

here's what I have so far -

use your imagination guys...

dude, just use the full clear lens from the altezzas or whatever you used and tint the top half red. thats all you have to do.

yeah i planned of doing that at first, but the inside of the oem lens has some special stuff goin on in it. It's got notches and other crap that works with the surface of the housing. Like some of the designs are on the lens itself. The altezza lens is plain flat on inside exept 3 pinstripe horizontal notches

you'd be able to tell, if you inspect one closely
