Damn pothole messed up my rim
so i was driving down the parkway at 11pm the other day and hit a pothole but didn't think anything of it. the next day i went outside and noticed the wheel was all bent, and right where it bent it had cracked. suprisingly the car still rides fine and its not losing air.
well my dad bent a rim on a pot hole and wrote a note to the city council. it took 6 months but they finally paid for it. Not too metention we bought a replacement on ebay for 60 bucks. we told them the oem wheels was like 250.
that's messed up man! we have a load of potholes here too! I think you should see if
the sorry city can pay for your damage since they allowed the damage by not repairing the hole!

All townships/cities have insurance just go to public works with a police report, photos etc. And they will pay for it. If anyone ever hits a pot whole stop and call the police get a police report and the township will pay for it. You just have to deal with their insurance company. Same goes for shopping centers, construction sites etc. they have insurance also.
Townships are responsible for maintaining the roads. Same goes for shopping centers and construction sites. The police report is your proof and makes things easier.
