Well guys i posted a while back that a piece of wood hit my car, and after a while i got the insurance info and they cut me a check for 750 for a ding the size of my finger. Anywayz took your advice and got me a VIS CF invader hood, here it be

Blackstatic: i jsut got that hood recently too, and i'm wonderin, look at the pic u posted as referece, on the right front corner, is the hood a little warped? like barely? mine flips up a bit on that corner, so i'm wondering if i just got a bad mold or somethin.
But that looks good! lol...i'm just biased cause i have one too! ^_^

aight ill post some pics of the whole car tommorow probably becuase i need to wash it, i live out in the country, yeah my headlights are the good old DIY black em out kind, just got bored and did em so, i think that made the biggest difference, and as far as the warping on the hood, mine was a lil warped before i put on the hood but thats because of my accident i had a while back. Ill update later with some pics after i wash and wax, oh yeah can i wax my cf hood?

this thread makes me soooooooooo sick

i got a CF hood from insurance too.....ordered a VIS CF Invader hood, they sent me OEM style........after 3 months of waiting and waiting, i get d.icked around and they tell me they can't do anything for me since i bought it through someone else. I finally get it put on and my bodyman painted it the factory color

If it is a little warped throw some hood pins on it that might help a little. Plus it'd look bad ***. Other then that it looks sweet. How'd you get the ins company to cover that? My hood is covered with dings from acorns would they cover that too? Just asking. Let me know. Thanks

No what happens is like lets say its 1500 damage they send you 1000 the 500 is covered and you get a 500 dollar brand new hood as opposed to getting the work done and u walk away.
