That is not too bad, depending on how you drive the effects will either come sooner or later. Remember negative camber is neccessary for better handling, also even if you have the car aligned to OE specs you will still have some negative camber.

I have the ingalls kit which has proven to be pretty good.

its -1.5 to 0 for the rear camber...according to my sheet.
i'm off by .5...will that eat away at my tires in the back?
just wondering so i'll hurry up in installin my camber kit and re-aligning my wheels.
i ordered SPC's for the front and back...hope they come soon

.5 will not do that much damage, infact it will be hardly noticable. How low is your car ?

so then prefered spec is -.75? And assuming that when you say your .5 off you mean your at -2.0 ? So in reality your 1.25 from prefered spec. If so then you may get tire wear over a period of time. How fast would be very hard to guess do to varriables like driver, load, road condition, tires, current tire wear patteren, ........... Typically camber wears tires over extended miles and wont as you say EAT the tires. It can and will cause tire wear but most likely not rapid wear. Toe on the other hand can be visualized as if its out its like dragging your tire sideways down the road and is a much more rapid tire wearing angle.

awesome guys...good info...
the reason i didn't buy a camber kit to begin w/ is cuz tien springs had a small drop (only 1.5" or so -- two fingers in the wheel gap) but i went to the shop to get an alignment and the guy said he couldn't fix the rear cambers. oh and my front and rear toe was waaay out of factory specs. but those are fixed now

well i guess i have some time before i have to put on my kit. thanks

True, when ever a car is lowered it throws everything off, I had the same problem when i put the Tien SS in.

How long did you wait before the alignment ?

I waited a week for everything to settle in.

i waited a long time cuz i was gonna replace my tires and wheels anyway. my stock tires were done after replacing them (well the back were). the toe was so bad that w/ my new wheels and tires i had trouble goin over bumpy road cuz my wheels kept hopping and goin all over the place. after the alignment...i go straight and bumps feel sooo much better.
