Memorial Day weekend Fun. (56k Warn)

Painted Calipers: Black
Repolished Injen SRI and JIC magic tie bar.
Cleaned and reoiled K&N Filter.
Installed Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket.

Old Thin Manifold Gasket.

Throttle body was dirty..

Compairson

Hondata gasket is 3mm, while OEM gasket is less than 1mm...
Gasket installed.



Calipers.

After 4 coats and many hours spent in the garage.



Kosei K1 16x7.5 , Mcgard Black Chrome Lugs.

Filter.

Polished intake and bar.

Yea, I shouldn't have done it in the first place.
Painted Red first time and I didn't like it too much with new wheels.

Then restripped the caliper paint and repainted with black.
Turned out really nice

i was thinking about painting my calipers black, i hate it when people try to make them look like fake brembos

car looks way better with the new rims and no lip

btw did you notice a difference with the hondata gasket? i was thinking of getting one.

Yup. You can actually touch the intake manifold now.
Alot cooler than before. Worth $60.

More questions... how did you clean/prep it beforehand... and did you use primer? Even clearcoat? It seems like you did. I wanna get at this possibly this weekend.

Wow. That's a clean ride and getting better everytime I see it. Looks great! I got my ported head on this past weekend and HP header. Also played with vafc and car is running very good.

Yea , Tire Rack is the best place to order.
They are in back order on those wheels right now.
Gasket took less than hour and half with 2 person.
