I've heard Bosch is horrible. I'm very happy with my NGK iridium IX plugs. Only $28 for 4, so they're cheaper than denso. Most dealers also recommend the ngk for honda cars.

Ive looked into it a bit and it looks like Bosch is poor quality (surprisingly).

Is there any real advantage from platinum vs. irridium plugs?

Iridium plugs are supposed to be higher performance, but double platinum is technically better due to the platinum ground electrode--it will last alot longer. The only case where the plug will actually matter is on turbo cars.

stick with denso or NGK for a honda.

dont spend more than $15. for a set. even our stock one is overpriced.

generally a $40 set of spark plugs wont do much but last longer.

Nice. Those are great plugs. Just be sure to torque them down to the right spec. Don't just guess, cause it will be way off.

And what exactly do I search for at sparkplugs.com, because I tried to find them and all I can find for our cars are some splitfire plugs

If you choose the car and everything, it should give you over 10 choices. I just tried it again and it works. Just choose all the car info and it will take you to the page.

HAHAHA...this is great if you choose an 03 all you get are splitfires for the plugs, but if you choose 01 or 02 you get a bunch of choices...that is fawking retarded...goes to show that even the "experts" can't get it right sometimes....thanks gearbox, obviously I was just searching for the wrong car...hahhaha

You need a different plug than stock. I think it's colder, but I'm not sure. Check the forced induction forums.

ive been running Bosch +4s for approximately 4000mi.
-have seen better gas mileage
-quicker starts
-a little smoother running
-nice plug for $3.99

when i reach 5000mi. on them, im going to switch over to the NGK IX IRIDUMs to see/feel if there is a difference

Bosch are really intended for European/domestic cars than for imports... go with Denso Iridiums...

I gotten the splitfire plugs and it works fine on my 2001 civic EX. From my point of view, all plugs are the same its just how you run your engine. For torqueing it should be 13lbs.
