Resale value of '02 Civic
Hey all, anyone got any suggestions of the value of my Civic?
It's an '02 LX Sedan, 5 spd
Added Honda OEM fog lights w/ switch, Veloz front lip, oem replica sides & rear skirts.
New back speakers and component w/ crossover in front
Currently have a JVC MP3/CD deck, but I might take that out and put the OEM CD back in.
Have Toyo winter tires (used 2 winters) + barely used OEM Firestones
Pretty sure I will be selling my 16" rim + summer rubber seperately.
Think that is about it. I'm considering selling it to my cousin who is looking for a car.
Looking at buying a Mazda6 Sport w/ Auto so my wife can drive it. :/

heh, thanks for the offer, at this point I'm not sure what I'll do but more than likely keeping the car, just trying to figure out what I can get for it, looking at Autotrader seems the average for an LX 'vic is $15K
Seems like a lot of deprecation from the almost $21K after taxes I paid for the car just over 2 years ago.
not to mention money spend on upgrades.

not to mention money spend on upgrades. civic resale value is usually really good.
base it on the price you paid for the car before taxes and freight, add in depreciation, and you'll find that the resale value is still fairly high for an '02.

yeah, i saw that the highest resale value is for hondas, then VW's. It was actually in the newspaper, and i was shown a clipping of it.
so if you think our resale is bad, for the next time you blow by a sunflower, you have yet another reason to laugh lol
