Got a flyer from Downtown Acura that they had wiper blades on sale for $4.88 each. They ended up being $4.98 each
And he brings out these flimsy pieces of plastic?! I'm like huh??
The price is actually JUST for the plastic wiper strip... You would have to disassemble your wiper blade, and just replace the plastic strip..
Felt kinda ghetto, since Canadian Tire has full metal wiper blade replacements for like $6 each, but the guys on ClubSI.com swear by these OEM replacements, so I said what the heck. Full OEM replacements cost $35
The Parts guy was very nice and showed me how to disassemble my wiper blades on a showroom RSX
You basically tug on the blade sideways, the plastic slides out with 2 thin metal rods embedded into the plastic rubber. Takes those off, and embed them into your new rubber wiper blade, and slowly slide the entire thing back on. There's a tiny "notch" in the plastic on one end, that when you just tug/push a bit, a small metal hook in the metal blade will latch into...
Anyway, just wanted to share my experience that these new blades are teh new hotness
I guess when I'm not moding at the level you guys are, these things turn me on
And stupid me.... I walked a bit further to Acura, just to find out these parts are HONDA parts... Could've bought them at the Honda dealer instead.... DOH!
And they are the new JDM hotness, they're Made In Japan, says so on the blade
So if you're getting those Cdn Tire replacements, you're no longer JDM
You're just CTM

I agree with you, don't get the Crappy Tire replacement blades as you don't need to. Just run down to your Honda dealership to get the rubber bladed replaced. Much better and so much cheaper.
