Which Exhaust Sounds Best For 04 Civic!?
hi could someone please tell me their opinions on which exhaust sound the best on the 02+ civic Ex?? i wana get one but i dont know what to get... looking for the deep rumbling sound not the ricerific fart can sorta sound... thanks
Deep = Greddy Evo, but they are not really that loud IMO. I think they are one of the more quieter exhausts until you go over 5k RPMs. But it has a nice deep tone, and I think it's a great sound, but that's why I got it.

what do you guys think about intakes?? cuz some of my friends are telling me to get INJEN CAI and some saying to get AEM Short ram... i was thinking about getting either the INJEN CAI or the AEM V2 though.. can i have some peoples opinions??
Dont get the EVO because when it rains it will expand and rub against the vehicle. i have the APEXi N1 and i love its not that loud..only people that say its loud are the people that dont have it...

would the GREDDY EVO2 expand too??? cuz that ones made of stainless steel... just wondering.. how much would a SKUNK2 exhaust run me though.. i want one that sounds nice.. not like extremely loud... but really low...
hks is cheaper than mostof the exhausts since it comes as an axleback but its really quiet but from what u can hear of it its really deep has gotten me lots of compliments.. about 200 bucks cheaper than most others too..as far as intakes youll hear just about everything... the aem v2 is a short ram for our car so if u want aem ull probably be better off with the sri one but if u want it strictly for perfomance not looks, go for the fipk2...nice sound, best gain youll find for an intake

Its pretty cool to have a nice deep tone in your car, but overtime you will get sick of it. Im going to change my dc sports tcs to a rs-r

The best answer to your question is for you to find out for yourself what you like the best. How do you go about doing this? Follow the following threads to download sound clips or movies of each exhaust on a 7thgen:

which exhaust do you guys think sounds nicer... the GREDDY EVO2, SKUNK2 or RS-R exhaust systems?? if you think none of those sound good.. could you tell me which you think sounds nicest NON rice and deep....
is there anyway to get the rsr exhaust for a dx coupe? i really like it and its prolly the only exhaust that i would get. hate attracting the cops and stupid as ricers. you think i can get custom piping and just buy the exhaust? anything on this would help!

Dezod has a special on random technology hi-flo cat: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...hreadid=140332
You can get an EX header from Ebay, one of our vendors, or the for sale forum.
And search around for the best price on an Exmag.
I have a DX. I am going to get a Kamakaze header (pick it up Friday). It's a catless header
It allready has a downpipe. I am going to see if I can hook the RSR directly up to the header (there is supposedly about 1/4 inch space so you would normally need a customer fitting) by possibly modifying the hangers. If you look at pics of the Exmag (Boilermaker has one look in his gallery) then you can see that it sticks out just a little. If this is too much that I'll try and connect it directly to the header to eliminate that problem. If not, I'll have to get a small connecting piece fabricated to connect the two. The Exmag was made for the sedan (eventhough every RS-R you see is listed as for the 2-D coupe) so it is a little longer than it should be. Anyway, we'll see.I don't suggest that you get a DC header, it would be cheaper, and about the same thing to put on a stock EX header. HP or Kamakaze are by far the best that I have seen for our cars.
