Has anyone dealt with or heard of Genesis Racing Gear

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has any info about this company. (Genesis Racing Gear)

Ive seen there ad in PAS mag and I have also heard from someone that they make pretty good bodykits there, but when I tried there website www.genesisracinggear.com its not the right website.

If you know anything about these guys or have had experience dealing with them please let me know

Thanks

Thanks for the info guys! Once again the CanEast forum is useful.

Im looking at getting the Octane front and I think that Stunna is friends with this guy too. I think I was quoted $250 for the blue fibreglass and $300 for a VIS. I just wasnt sure which way to go cause VIS is a good name and should have good fitment but I dont know if its as flexible as the blue fibreglass stuff. What do you guys think, and is that price good?

Boo I think Im gonna stick with my Aero sides and rear for now cause Im strapped for cash, unless you want to trade for graphics or something.

Hey Boss,

I tried to check your ride pics but you dont have any with your bumper on.

How would you say the quality and fitment is? Did they paint it for you too?

Was yours blue fibreglass?

ITS A LOT OF WRITING!!!

ok Im just gonna warn ya'll right now...Rod isn't the person to deal with, he's a liar first of all, and you'll be lucky if you get your **** when he says....I've heard of a lot, and when I say a lot Im talking 10 plus people complaining about him...and I, myself, was almost ****ed over....I wasted gas and trips to brampton for nuttin' when this guy knew he was bullshiting me...honestly I don't know about the peeps he merged wit now...but it took over a month for me to get my ****, after he said it was done...one dude drove from London after rod told him to come to the shop and then he didn't have his **** ready...if you ask me, he's highly disrespectful....

I literally had to hunt down my side skirts, when I got fed up wit the **** that was going on...i ended up at ****in' albion and steeles....at some dudes barn, where they work out of...

I really would advice anybody two think twice before dealing wit him...and again trust me Im not the only one to complain, every single time I went up there...over 5 times....there were people comlaining, **** one dude was waiting 6 months...I honestly think if I didn't track my **** down, I would've been outta my money and sides...

AND when I finally did get my sides they were all warped and ****ed up...they wouldn't even fit my car properly, he said to ****in drill holes and nail the **** into the body panels...**** that...all that causes is rust in the long run...luckly my father is a prep man and painter, and he told me this **** right away, otherwise I would've been like most young guys that just want their **** on...and ****ed up my ride...FINALLY after I gave him back my sides and he made new ones, another couple of weeks later, they fit better (they actually dried properly before being popped outta the mold) they were installed without haveing to screw anything...install was done by me and my dad (over 20 years of experience, brings a lot of creativity!!! lol I love that guy)....Im a lucky bastard, didn't have to pay for no materials, paint, labour!!!!

my **** looks sooo clean and ill!!!

SO I SAY NOOOO TO GENESIS!!!!!!

Wow......thats was your experience?

Mine wasnt to bad...When I went to pick mine up the day it was suppose to be done, the fibreglass was still wet in its mold...he told me to come the next day. It was ready then....So I have good experience with em. Did I meantion he was a good guy and gave me the Shogun for FREE?!

With a donation of my Tsunami for a weekend anyways....Nothings for free.....

Oh ya....that exact day my cart ran out of gas in front of his shop and he nicely donated a Jerry Can and drove me to a gas station and drove me back....I kept the Jerry can. =P

Transformer_Guy is on a distinguished road
Genisis makes some of the worst body kits on the market. My friends shop had to order 5 kits before getting one that would fit the car properly. When I say fit the car properly I dont even mean OEM fitment. It was still a little off (1/4 inch each side) but the customer did not want to wait any longer. The first sets of kits were off by a lot...(2" each side on the front bumper and .75" on the rear. I dont know what type of business they are trying to run but it seems that they are digging themselves a deep hole. I suggest that people should not buy their body kits. Pay a lil more and get something better. You get what you pay for...
