which way do springs go in....

which way do springs go in....

ok im an idiot...so dont flame me...but im puttin in new neuspeed springs tomorrow morning...but i dont know which side of the spring is top and which is bottom.....on the front(bigger) springs the coils go from wide gap to littler gap and on the back springs theydo the same...the go from wider gaps in the coils to little gaps in the coils....which way is the top and which way is the bottom of the spring when i put them in?

I'm pretty sure the larger gap goes up. My GC coilovers were different though. The gap was the same throughout the spring.

smaller gap on the bottem I do believe...just look at your stock springs...i think they are progressive rates as well.

stocks are linear, not progressive.
The rears only go in one way... the coils that touch together on the bottom.
The fronts, people have called and they say the coils that touch are supposed to be on top. It really doesnt matter a whole lot tho.
