CARBON FIBER HOOD issue...
heres the problem, I've had a CF hood for a while now, but recently, i duno if its the weather or whutever but now my hood looks dull in some spots. in other words, the clear coat is rubbed off in some areas. any ideas on makin it shiny like the rest of the hood? i tried waxing it, but it comes back quickly. my friend told me to get a clear coat and spray it on. any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

oh yea...if you don't want to pay for someone to do it or w/e u can by clear coat in a can like a lowes...I wouldn't do it but if you don't feel like spending any cash and are a diy guy then it would prolly work.

if you paint the cf hood i've seen people put stickers on the hood and than paint it all than after the hood is painted they pealed off the stickers and now you got a painted cf hood and cf spots for the stickers i think it looks good
