yes, they are similar to the D1 coils. No one has them, no one can probably tell you how they are.

I dont know about these ones but i have a friend who had RDX coilovers on his 99 avenger. Those things were the absolute WORST coilovers in history, He had to replace them only 2 months after installing them, 2 months= 2" sag, no BS, stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! trust me!!!!!

They look like a monotube design with 6 settings. Flex has 15 settings. Plus you don't know the spring rates and it doesn't have camber plates. The only thing that is similar is the little adjustment tool which is a fairly simple design to turn a ****. JICs are comparable to Tein Flex, except for the lazy man's EDFC.

EDFC is a gimmick or car show bling thing or whatever. No amateur racing body that I am aware of permits the adjustment of dampers from inside the car while its moving. At any rate. Buy name brand suspensions. Anything thats 1/2 the price of anything that compares to it is crap... common logic should tell you that.

EDFC in my opinion is for street use, and some BLING factor.
I for one don't think it is crap, it is just not needed like a lot of stuff we buy. What better/faster way do you know of to test out different settings while driving. I think it is not a good idea to adjust it while moving, but just before a race at the last minute you may decide to go a little stiffer. Instead of getting out you press a button. What is wrong with that? No worse than a bottle opener
