Is it me or is the system here at school a piece of ****. I tried adding three classes and their packed up the *** so I had to settle for some crappy classes that I didnt want. Anyone who goes to calpoly have the same problem. Im just venting cause I didnt get into the math and chem class that I wanted. They should open more sections cause everything is so impacted here. So Im like pissed right now and have to go try to add another one before the day is over. Wish me luck

yah and no, at cal poly yo just gotta try to add the damn class sometimes. i hardly get the classes i want over the ohone, i ususally just show up and try getting into the classes with an add slip. Hope you have better luck

but they're putting way more lock down on adding in most classes.

i suppose its better to just get ur classes right when you have your registration appointment. unless you got a late registration date, lol.

Yeah, I used to go to Saddleback there system had problems...at UCSB first quarter the system blew but now it is running smooth...wish you the best

thanks, I ended up getting three classes I wanted and one that was my second choice. They really are getting more strick though since Ive been here and the budget is to blame I think. If you find enough people to sign a petition you can actually get the department to open up more sections of class which is crowded, thats what happened in my chm class. Dont get me started on the books though school is a rip on those too...haha

I was going to try this site when I first started Cal Poly but I didn't have much trouble getting into the classes that I wanted to get into and then I lost the address. But I guess I'll check it out now because like Phong said, it's getting harder and harder to get into the classes that you need/want.

I go to UC Riverside..much better school than Cal Poly and UCSB combined..

Are you joking??? You did not just say that. I have friends that go to UCR, UCSB, and Calpoly and IMO I think SB and Calpoly is better than UCR. Your school is aiight but I would have to disagree with you. Your entitled to your opinion though.

no....UCR sucks too!!! I can never get the classes i want! Im transfering next year.... to be honest I heard cal-poly sucks more, my sis goes there....... UCR-parking sucks!!!!! Reg sucks!!!! Teachers sucks!!!!!!

haha u must be a 1st year or 2nd year...yea registering sucks the first 2 years but once u get more credits its a lot easier to get the classes u want. And yes the parking does suck now...they are taking away all our close parking spots, good thing i dont have a problem parking though

haha, just because your school is a "UC" it doesn't mean anything.

U.S. News Ranked Cal Poly #8 in the United States for Engineering.

I think we're #2 in the nation (Cornell #1) for Hospitality Management.

And regionally speaking Cal Poly is #3 around its area.

Is UCR ranked in anything? It's a nice school, but IMO Cal Poly is a better.

Cal State Fullerton vs. UC Riverside vs. COW Poly Pomona for Business....I heard COW Poly sux for business compared to CSUF..

the reason is that its because it will say u graduated from a UC...as great as some Cal states can be, UC's seem to have more of an affect on peeps cause UC's, also private schools like USC are mostly known as top ranking schools that are higher than cal states and jc's. Since most the time u will have a harder time being accepted to one straight out of high school. But just IMO i would rather have a UC graduate title, which will be done next spring
